Associate Therapists

Clara Logan, AMFT #144259

Clara

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) working under the supervision of Ariel Cohen, LMFT. I’vehad experience working with a wide range of client populations - including adults, couples, children, and teenagers. Now with years of experience working within school settings and currently supporting teens in residential treatment, I continue to find passion and excitement in private practice while supporting adolescents through the difficult transitions and developmental shifts that are seemingly ever-occurring.

Utilizing a person-centered foundation, I prioritize alliance building and a warm, non-judgmental approach to therapy. I love to incorporate a wide range of interventions from differing modalities, such as CBT, DBT, Attachment theory, and Bowenian theory, tailoring treatment planning for an individualized approach.

I have worked with many different individuals and presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, disordered eating, family conflict, oppositional defiant disorder, ADHD, ASD, and self-esteem struggles. I always work to encourage clients with positive growth and self-reflection, as well as foster motivation for change.

I received a B.A. in Psychology from California Lutheran University and obtained a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Institute through Campbellsville University. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) working under the supervision of Ariel Cohen, LMFT. I am dedicated to fostering the well-being and personal growth in individuals, couples, and children. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s from the University of Southern California.

Following my graduation from Pepperdine, I completed extensive training at the Pepperdine University Counseling Center, where I provided therapy to the student population. This experience allowed me to address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

My approach is grounded in compassion and empathy, creating a safe and supportive space using evidence-based practices to empower clients. By tailoring therapeutic strategies to each individual’s needs, I ensure clients receive personalized care for meaningful change. If you’re interested in connecting, feel free to reach out to me at either (310) 254-0816 or [email protected]!
